Night Jar Independent Artists Festival – Torquay
Get out your busking hat, it’s officially the beginning of the new year and the first Night Jar Festival of 2019 has commenced.
On Thursday the 3rd of January, in Torquay the Night Jar Festival celebrated the new year with performing artists that showcased their talent ranging from music, performing arts, painting and more.
With an eclectic array of artisans that specialise in culinary food, boho-chic clothing designs and hand-crafted jewellery, there’s a little something for everyone. The great thing about this festival is all the artists are local, and the festival is an opportunity for the community to come together and support one and other, while dancing, eating and sipping spirits under the star filled sky.
The Night Jar Festival is a family friendly event that runs every Thursday in January on the 3rd, 10th, 17th and 24th in Torquay. It then makes its way to Geelong on the 1st, 8th, 15th and 22nd of February.
