Many people are into fitness training, but how many can say they have trained with a surfing champion. On Thursday 27 April 2017, fitness enthusiasts, surf fans and people of all demographics united together in a fun fitness event at Simonds Stadium, the home of the AFL Geelong Cats.
The AABB (All Australian Beach Body) live event was held by Pro Surfer Sally Fitzgibbons, where she was promoting her new fitness app the All Australian Beach Body (AABB). Sally explained the fitness app is all about strength conditioning and cardio brought together in a fun and functional way. She hopes to promote an active lifestyle to people and inspire the next generation of kids.
Guests were invited to massages in the massage area, and received complimentary hydration and nutrition giveaways. When people entered on to the field they were greeted with pre-event entertainment hosted by K Rock Geelong radio. Once settled on their mats, the fitness got underway with a yoga stretching warm up. Sally then took to the stage and treated the people with an electric 45 minute interactive live training session. Post the fitness session fans had the opportunity to meet with Sally for autographs and photo ops.
If you were unable to attend the live event, you can still train like a surf star through her 7 day free trial fitness app.
